Marcus Moore caters Kimberly Clark opening

Thursday 12th May saw the Marcus Moore team cater for the opening of global health giant Kimberly Clark's new £24million distribution centre at Revolution Park, Buckshaw Village in Chorley.

Marcus says 'with our reputation within our home town of Chorley really strong we where recommended by Chorley council as a top caterer in the town and they put us forward to undertake the food and drink for this special day for their invited guests and visitors, needless to say the day went really smooth and the lunch was enjoyed by all'.

 

Marcus Moore celebrates 10 years in business

2011 see's Marcus Moore entering its tenth year in business.

MD Marcus Moore says 'we have come a long way since setting up in 2001,we now have a strong team of over 20 full and part time staff who work events all over the north of England and I am really proud of the reputation we have built up over the years. We have never forgotten that the customer is number one with us and we are continually adapting and listening to our clients needs'

March this year has seen the contract catering side of the business chosen by a major online retailer to supply office lunches for their Lancashire head offices on a daily basis. Marcus says 'one of the most pleasing things about the business is the repeat work our customers ask us to undertake. We have done quite a few weddings where we have catered for a second member of the family after events have gone so well first time round'.

 

Marcus Moore cater Gene Sutcliffe

September saw the team invited back to Gene Sutcliffe in Accrington Lancashire to cater 'The Ruby Event'.

Gene Sutcliffe are a leading ladies fashion store in the north of England and where celebrating 40 years in business with a fantastic evening for their customers catered by Marcus Moore. The team served luxury canapes and ruby style cocktails while the ladies enjoyed great music while choosing fantastic new outfits for the autumn season.

Managing director Marcus Moore says, 'I was delighted when Gene insisted our team cater for her again. As a caterer it is always nice when customers invite you back to work for them again, it confirms to us we are doing the job exactly to the brief they give us and they are comfortable with our team of chefs and floor staff who make the events run effortlessly. Marcus Moore Caters Society of Liverpool Golf Captains

Thursday 10th June saw the Marcus Moore Team cater The 2010 Society of Liverpool Golf Captains Dinner at Dean Wood Golf Club in Lancashire.

Mahoods of Rainford supplied a splendid Marquee while the Marcus Moore Team put on a fantastic 3 course Dinner for 267 hungry Golfers. Chef Director Marcus Moore says "It was a privilege to be invited to cater this Event and all my fantastic team made the Evening run very smooth, when catering for this amount of guests in a short time frame and to a high standard our planning and attention to detail has to be spot on, The Team did a remarkable Job once again"

 

Ultimate Event 2010!

The Ultimate Event 2010Saturday the 8th May saw the Marcus Moore team cater for the 'Ultimate Event 2010' at Alton Towers in Staffordshire.

Fantastic Business Growth in 2009

Marcus Moore seemed to have bucked the trend in 2009 with a 25% growth in business. Many people found it an extremely tough trading year with a gloomy economic forecast predicted.

Marcus says, "We entered 2009 quite nervously with all the doom and gloom, but as a team we made a pledge to really advance forward in our sector and give our customers a second to none service. We never once were tempted to choose cheaper ingredients or inferior equipment or cut staffing levels, it just wasn't an option for us. Our culture is to make our customers more than happy with our services and to build working relationships that continue into the future." Marcus Moore helps local company celebrate Queen's Award

November saw the Marcus Moore team chosen as caterer for ATG UV Technology's opening of their UK headquarters in Wigan and a Queen's Award for Enterprise. The double celebration took place in front of over one hundred guests made up of local councilors and Wigan M.P. Neil Turner.

Marcus says, "It was a privilege to work on this event and to be chosen as caterer shows how well regarded we are within our local business community."
